July 4th

Happy 4th everyone! I have finally decided to share this video with you guys.  First off I would just like to say that this video, although short, took months to complete and edit.  I would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped me create this video, you guys are truly amazing!

 This video was my fashion project for the application to get the chance to be a Nordstrom Ambassador.  I got the letter in the mail a couple days ago, so all the time put into this video was truly worth it! I am so excited for this chance to represent Nordstrom and just get to know the fashion industry more.

This video's prompt was to answer the question: why do you love fashion? It took a lot of pondering on my part to get the feelings I feel about fashion into actual words.  I have come up with three reasons, and I can truly say that I am satisfied with them.

Maybe its time for Spring

And one of me just being me. You would be surprised I actually make this face a lot:

It is finally warm enough that I can just throw a jacket on and wrap a scarf around! After endless months of sweaters and winter coats, this little "warm" week was just the break I needed. This colorful jacket I picked up from Nordstrom BP a while back is surprisingly warm! I bought it thinking I would have to layer underneath for some actual warmth, but it is not only warm but really soft. Moral of the story? Don't judge a jacket by its hanger. 

Oh and I know it doesn't look sunny in the pictures, but trust me it was where I was facing. I am not one of those people who wear sunglasses no matter what (even inside) trust me, I'm not.

Guess Who's Birthday....

So guys guess what happened on Saturday October 12? Oh yes it was my birthday! I finally turned 15! As most of you know, along with some delicious cake (chocolate for me) and candles, there are also presents at birthday parties!

This birthday I wanted to show you the physical things I got (not the gift cards- because that would be boring).  Mostly what I wanted to show you guys were the cobalt blue cross body bag I got, and the striped scarf I also received.  Oh and let's not forget the gray maxi skirt with a slit! If you were wondering all the things I just listed above were from Nordstrom BP.

Not really a fashionable shoe wear, but SUPER comfortable are the Adidas Adissage Slides I also received.  If you are ever looking for comfy slip-ons for after the gym, or just everyday use I highly recommend these! They feel as if you are getting a foot massage every time you walk with them on.  Personally, I use mine for after swim practices and at swim meets!

Saturday Lunch

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I went out with the family to go shopping, run some errands, and while out in the city we decided to go take a quick lunch break at an adorable little bakery! While I am shopping and running errands I like to wear shoes that are cute but also super comfy so I don't injure myself (I have had tons of injuries as it is, don't need another one).  I also am not one to carry a tote, instead I like one that I can swing over my shoulder and go.
