Dress turned Skirt

{Top: Nordstrom, Skirt/Dress: Forever 21, Flip-Flops: Old Navy, Belt: Came with another dress, Bracelet: American Eagle, Hair Band:The Finest Accessories}

How is everyone doing? When I was picking out my outfit of the day, I found this dress and thought it would be perfect.  Turns out I grew (Yay!), and the dress hit at an awkward length. Think mid-calf, yup pretty awkward right?! Even though it didn't quite fit right, I loved this dress so much I wanted to keep it. So I had the idea of turning this dress into a maxi skirt! I tucked my shirt into the stretchy band, and looped a belt on to bring out the blue in the skirt/dress. Ta da! I have myself my very own maxi skirt now!

Thanks for reading!

Outfit of the Day: Camille

Hi everyone! Well, the sun was in Washington for a while, but now its gone! :( I really loved this outfit that my friend Camille was wearing the other day. She wore shorts and a tank top that gave off a Spring/Summer vibe, but layered a dark green military inspired jacket to keep warm during a chilly breeze. My favorite part of Spring, is not having to wear a heavy jacket all the time; however, you should always be prepared with a light jacket, just like Camille has on here! Lastly, I would like to thank my dear friend Camille for letting me use her pictures on my blog!

Balance is Key

{Top: Hollister, Skirt: Thrifted, Jacket: Nordstrom Rack, Oxfords: Nordstrom Rack}

Hi everyone! The first picture is a touch dark because when I took it the clouds were still hovering in the sky, so sorry about that! Today I had a mini-presentation at school, and decided I would dress up a little. I picked a tailored white button down top, and decided to try a little print, so I threw on the tribal pattern inspired skirt. Since, I don't have to the presentation every class period, I kept it casual with some oxfords and a light jean jacket. Have a great weekend!

P.S. I styled the same oxfords in a different way in one of my previous blog posts if you want to check that out:
