Babydoll Blue

{Dress: Forever 21, Cardi: Unknown, Shoes: Nordstrom Rack}

The weather has finally been warming up a bit, so I decided it would be the perfect day to wear a dress! Since Washington is a bit bipolar I'm crossing my fingers that the temperature will just keep on climbing up!

However, school is just plunging down right now.  It is almost the end of the school year and I just can't wait to get out!! Unfortunately I have to survive finals and the EOC (End of Course Exam) before I am free of school.  I hope you are all having a great day!

Thanks for reading!

Balance is Key

{Top: Hollister, Skirt: Thrifted, Jacket: Nordstrom Rack, Oxfords: Nordstrom Rack}

Hi everyone! The first picture is a touch dark because when I took it the clouds were still hovering in the sky, so sorry about that! Today I had a mini-presentation at school, and decided I would dress up a little. I picked a tailored white button down top, and decided to try a little print, so I threw on the tribal pattern inspired skirt. Since, I don't have to the presentation every class period, I kept it casual with some oxfords and a light jean jacket. Have a great weekend!

P.S. I styled the same oxfords in a different way in one of my previous blog posts if you want to check that out:

Early Bird

Jeans: American Eagle, Jean Jacket: Nordstrom, Top: Forever 21, Shoes: Nordstrom Rack, Bag: Michael Kors

The sun is starting to peak out of the sky, but it is not quite warm enough to break out the shorts yet (well at least in Washington).  As a compromise, I paired a bright neon coral bottom with a jean jacket to balance out the temperatures.  The bright jeans scream spring, while the jean jacket keeps it toned down. A jean jacket is great clothing piece to have since it is a classic, and a great layering tool!
