Snip Snip

Good morning (or night, or afternoon) people! My latest obsession? Short hair! There is just something about the short/medium hair cuts that make me want to chop off my long locks! The weird thing? I have NEVER EVER EVER wanted to cut my hair short! But here I am, deciding whether or not to take the risk and chop it all off (well not all of it of course!).

These lovely ladies are rocking their short/medium hair cuts. I love the short hair with the wavy texture, it gives the look just a whole new feeling! Of course I can't bear the thought of going too short, so I am thinking a short/medium look; so, more like the shoulder length.

Once I actually go make an appointment to cut my hair (after I stop procrastinating) I will show you guys a before and after picture!

Key to Success

Happy Friday everyone! Ahead of us is the weekend (thank goodness)! I hope you all have had a fabulous week and continue to have a great time!
Success. In life people work to succeed, in whatever they do they want to succeed. So what is the secret to success? In reality, there is no "secret." The only thing that will help you succeed, is if you go out there and work your butt off.

Even if it will take a long time and take a lot of effort (which it will) keep working at it! Everything you do to reach your goal, or be successful, is a step forward.

So... Get out there and WORK!

I hope this helped motivate some of you.  I know sometimes all we need is a little push!

Knee High Boots

The knee-high boot is a must have for this Fall!! Some boots on the runways even went as far as mid-thigh! I watched runway after runway on my computer and identified trends I saw (you can say I became quite the fashion critic), and the knee-high boot was one of the trends I spotted.  Don't worry though I will be reporting back more trends I spotted in the following weeks!

Besides the knee-high boot being one of the must have shoes this fall, it is also one of my very favorite essentials for ever fall! I literally have a whole rack full of boots! What can I say? I really love my boots.

My plan now is to speed over to Nordstrom and buy one (maybe more) pair of new leather knee-high boots!!

Fearless

{Bralette: Hollister, Skirt: Nordstrom Rack, Bag: Michael Kors, Flip Flops: Old Navy}

Happy Monday! Ha I'm funny, there is no such thing as a happy Monday (usually). Last weekend I took advantage of the wonderful weather and strolled around Seattle! When I was getting dressed to leave, I decided to be fearless in what I wore. I usually don't like to show the midsection, but I really loved how this outfit looked and felt! Hopefully you guys are inspired to go fearless with your wardrobe for one day!

Tomato, Basil, and Cheese

Happy Friday! So today I have something a little different on the blog! As you have probably noticed from the pictures already, it isn't a fashion post today. Nope! Its a simple recipe I would like to share with you guys. This is probably the easiest thing EVER to make, and I am not exaggerating! Ok, well maybe cereal is easier but this is healthier. :) Oh and the hand with the tomato isn't me, its my sister.  She has small hands doesn't she? Anyways enjoy and let me know what you think about this salad!

*Please ignore my terrible cutting skills*

Serving Size- 1 person, 1 salad

Ingredients:

-1 Tomato
-1 Block of Mozzarella cheese
-Basil
-Olive Oil
-Pepper
-Salt

Procedure:
1) Cut the cheese (Hahaha I am so funny!) Then set the cut cheese aside
2) Wash the tomato and cut it into slices
3) Wash the basil. (I like to tear them into little bits, but you don't have to)
4) Lay the cheese down first, then follow with the tomatoes, lastly the basil.
5) Take about a small spoon size of olive oil and drizzle on top of the salad
6) Sprinkle salt and pepper
7) Serve and enjoy!

Tie Your Bag

{All images from Google Images and my Pinterest}

Lately I have been loving the scarf-tied-to-bag look. It is a easy way to personalize any bag, and to add a pop of color if your bag is a neutral tone. There are so many ways to tie a scarf, I don't even know where to begin! One way is to tie a bow, which adds a girly touch.  Another is to layer the scarf on, which makes a huge statement. Of course if your bag is a clutch, you can wrap the handle with a  colorful scarf! Of course these are not all the ways to personalize a bag. There are so many more ways, but I personally like this way the best! So go try it out!

Birthday Bash

{Romper: Target, Belt: Target, Charm Bracelet: Links of London, Bag: Steve Madden, Shoes: Steve Madden/ DSW}

Long time no see- or hear! How are you all doing? This past week has been pretty crazy.  A week filled with fireworks and birthday parties (I guess people just like to be born in July)! One of my favorite outfits to wear to parties is a romper with a bright pop of color. This romper is one of my favorite buys from da da da daaa TARGET! To add a little touch of girlyness, I wore a charm bracelet from Links of London.
