End of Summer

 September has officially started which means school is just around the corner.  It is really starting to hit me how close my senior year is getting, and how busy this year is going to be.  Even though this fall is going to be hectic, I am still excited to see what this year has to offer! A new year means a chance to do something great, and a new year to reach your goals.  Yes, I know it is a bit cliche but it's true! This year is my last year in high school, and then I move onto the next chapter: college. 

With each passing day slowly getting darker, it makes me reminisce about the amazing summer I have had.  And even though I am excited for the new year, I do not want summer to end! Yes I want to pull on the sweaters and break out the boots, but I will miss the fun that my friends, family, and I had in the sun.

So here's the last hurray to summer and looking to the new school year!

Something New

Happy Weekend ladies! I finally got a new camera and you might have notice the quality difference between my old pictures and these new ones.

How have you been spending your last couple days of the holiday seasons? For the students out there: are you guys looking forward to school? I surely am not!

 Mostly these days I have been catching up on my favorite TV shows. Recently I have started watching a new reality TV show called Capture. It is quite similar to the plot of the Hunger Games where the players have to eliminate each other, BUT they do not get killed! Basically its a big game of tag!

Way to Layer

There is nothing quite like a little walk at Pike Place while munching on a delicious croissant and sipping hot apple cider. Winter here in Seattle is quite chilly actually, as I am writing this the snow is gently falling creating a beautiful white blanket.

When Winter clothes come to mind most people would think of the dark neutrals. But I tend to lean toward adding pops of color to a more neutral outfit.

Zip em' Up

Long time no see everyone! I always feel the need to apologize when I have not been blogging consistently.  So sorry! I will promise to try to blog as consistently as I can.  School and swim have just been overwhelming lately.

Anyways, I just bought these jeans ($15- SCORE) from Nordstrom Rack and I have been wearing them non-stop! The zipper detailing on the jeans create a edge on the whole outfit.  If you haven't found a pair of gray-wash jeans for the Fall and Winter; you absolutely should.

Fashionably Comfy

Happy middle of the week ladies! My weeks has been super chaotic between school and swimming! How have your weekends' been?

This outfit has very quickly become one of my favorite outfits for Fall! I love the comfortable layers and how it keeps me warm and casual, but the pants keep this look clean and chic! It is definitely different than other outfits I wore, but I am going to embrace this new trend/style.  I was also told a couple times today that my outfit looks comfy, but also something you would see in the magazines as a interpretation of runway trends this Fall; as you can imagine I was pretty psyched about those compliments! :)

I will definitely being going out to purchase some more of these slouchy chic pants!

All About The Details

It is finally the weekend! Hooray! This weekend also marked the official starting of boot season for me! I finally whipped out these new tall boots of mine and debuted them this weekend! One of my favorite things about Fall is being able to wear boots, since they are my favorite footwear. 

This outfit is perfect for a walk in the city when it is a bit colder but you just don't want to wear a coat yet!  I also happened to pass by this really creative and unique wall right outside a library. Doesn't this wall look so cool??

Oh and by the way I chopped off my long locks!!! It was very exciting, and I felt that I needed to change it up since I haven't cut my hair that short in... Forever!

Hello peeps! I snapped this quick outfit of the day on Sunday and have been dying to show you guys this cool new outfit! First off I knotted my shirt on the side because it is quite long, and I find that it gives the look and very effortless chic look. The hat tops it all off (haha get it?) and makes the perfect pair with the fedora! By the way the watch is my mom's old watch so SCORE! What kind of hat is your favorite to wear on a Summer day?

Good morning! How are you all feeling? I'm starting a countdown till I go back to school!! Right now it is T -Minus 15 days! Yikes it is approaching fast. 

Anyways, white on white is a huge trend for the fall, but I thought I would try it out now and see if I liked it; therefore, I could shop for this trend when I go fall/back to school shopping. Well turns out, I love white on white.  However, my shirt in this outfit isn't exactly white it is more of a light pink and cream color (but its a light color right?!).

Helloo! I have recently thought about me posting each day of my vacay, but I figured that would take too long and still wanted to post some other things, such as back to school outfits, and monthly favorites/ wish list. So I packed the highlights of the trips into one post.  You should know that these are not all my outfits, since we (my family and I) also went up to Toronto and Niagara Falls for a couple days, and the drive up to Canada almost took the whole day.  I hope you guys enjoy and see my trip through my eyes! :)
