Something New

Happy Weekend ladies! I finally got a new camera and you might have notice the quality difference between my old pictures and these new ones.
How have you been spending your last couple days of the holiday seasons? For the students out there: are you guys looking forward to school? I surely am not!
 Mostly these days I have been catching up on my favorite TV shows. Recently I have started watching a new reality TV show called Capture. It is quite similar to the plot of the Hunger Games where the players have to eliminate each other, BUT they do not get killed! Basically its a big game of tag!

30 Day Wish List

{1st row: Zara, Kate Spade, F21
2nd row: Splendid, Farfetch, Avenue 32}

Happy 2014 everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful celebration with lots of sparkles! Here is my 30 Day Wish List for the month of January. January is the month where I start to long for Spring to arrive due to the long duration of Winter (or at least how it feels). Especially in Seattle where the Winter feels like an endless rainstorm. On the other hand Spring is just gorgeous here!

My new years resolution is to blog more consistently. What's yours?

Way to Layer

{Dress: Marshalls, Leggings: F21, Scarf: Nordstrom, Boots: Nordstrom}

There is nothing quite like a little walk at Pike Place while munching on a delicious croissant and sipping hot apple cider. Winter here in Seattle is quite chilly actually, as I am writing this the snow is gently falling creating a beautiful white blanket.
When Winter clothes come to mind most people would think of the dark neutrals. But I tend to lean toward adding pops of color to a more neutral outfit.

Black Friday Inventory

{Nail polish: Target, Socks: Old Navy, Sunnies: Old Navy, Earrings: Old Navy, PJ Pants: Old Navy, Jeans: American Eagle, Sweater: American Eagle, Dress: Macy's, Shoes: DSW}

So as most of you know, Thanksgiving is a time for getting together with the family. However, some of you might also be aware of the day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, a.k.a chaotic shopping time. The professional Black Friday shoppers know the secret that Black Friday is actually a lie *gasps* its technically Black Thursday. Many stores open Thursday night at around 8 p.m. This is the perfect time to buy all those holiday gifts for everyone you love (and yourself). But if you're me it means cardio for burning off that Thanksgiving dinner, and an excuse to put more clothes into the closet!
As of this year I just got promoted to professional Black Friday shopper. Yay! This year was the first year in which I decided to get a bunch of my friends and go Black Friday shopping at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Yep we were those crazy girls who line up for the malls. For those of you who have not gone Black Friday shopping before I suggest you do, BUT make sure you wear comfy shoes and have a cup of Starbucks with you to keep you awake!
On Black Friday I picked up quite a few items as you can see. There were some great sales; including the sale at Macy's where I picked up that gorgeous lavender dress (which I still haven't found an occasion to wear it too...Oops). Did I mention that it was buy one get one FREE?! Definitely one of the better sales.
How was your Thanksgiving weekend?
